You will be working as Commissioning Engineer at global grade 14 and will be part of Process Automation business for Process Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and will be responsible for acting as commissioning lead for projects with low to medium complexity. Ensuring completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements and cybersecurity policies and standards. Your responsibilities Responsible for inspection / supervision of power, control, screened, communication and special cable laying Responsible for tightness checking of wiring and components inside panels (IO, CPU and server) Establishing and troubleshooting Profibus, Ethernet, Modbus and FO networks as per the system architecture drawing Testing / simulation of developed software along with customer Fine tuning and modification / troubleshooting of logics as per customer requirements Checking and recording the CPU loading for each controller (with scan time and cyclic time) Your background Bachelor's degree or diploma in electrical / electronic engineering Require 5 to 7 years of experience in the in automation solutions Good experience in automation solutions by similar suppliers in primary metals, cement and material handling industry. Hands on experience in DCS with Automation background Good knowledge in ABB automation systems like 800xA, 800M and compact products A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills More about us Process Industries division delivers complete electrification and automation solutions, industry-specific products and lifecycle services across industries.
