JOB PURPOSETo craft sharp, clear, and engaging copy across digital touchpoints that simplifies finance, supports campaigns, and strengthens the brand voice, while collaborating closely with design, creative, and video teams.KEY RESPONSIBILITES1. Write copy for always-on and campaign-led content, including:- Social media posts and captions- Performance media banners and ads- Campaign lines, taglines, and messaging frameworks2. Support video content by:- Assisting with script drafts and adaptations- Writing short-form video hooks, supers, and VO lines- Repurposing long-form scripts into social-ready formats3. Translate financial and product information into clear, user-friendly language that is accurate and trustworthy.4. Work closely with:- Designers to ensure copy and visuals work together seamlessly- Creative leads on campaign thinking and ideation- Strategy and marketing teams to align messaging with business objectives5. Adapt copy based on:- Platform requirements and audience behaviour- Performance insights and feedback- Brand tone and regulatory considerations6. Maintain consistency of brand voice and messaging across all formats and platforms.WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (6-12 Months)- Copy across platforms feels clear, confident, and on-brand, especially for finance-led communication.- Social and performance content shows strong engagement and clarity of message.- Designers and creative teams see the copywriter as a collaborative partner, not a last-mile executor.- The copywriter begins to own key content streams independently with minimal supervision.REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE- 3-7 years of relevant copywriting experience, preferably in finance, FinTech, BFSI, or adjacent categories.- Prior experience in an agency environment or relevant brand, working with cross-functional teams.- Strong writing skills across:- Short-form social copy- Performance marketing creatives- Campaign and brand communication- Ability to write in English, with working knowledge of Hindi / Hinglish being a strong advantage.- Understanding of how copy needs to change across platforms, formats, and objectives.- Basic familiarity with video content workflows and script structures.
