- Collect RMA data, perform analytic study, determine areas for improvement and take a lead to work with all stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.
- Perform enhanced disposition on nonfunctioning HID products, understand the root cause and address with appropriate corrective actions; collect data to drive continuous improvement and prevent reoccurrence of the same failures.
- Provide Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 standard) support including internal audits, calibration program, management reviews and support external / 3rd party audits.
- Act as a technical resource within the Quality Assurance Department to ensure the timely and proper creation, modification and release of QMS documents.
- Utilize quality assurance tools to test, track, analyze and report on materials, processes and products.
- Leads quality planning functions including establishing KPIs for the Quality Department.
- Manage relevant KPIs, such as Delivered Quality, RMA, MRB, and CAPA.
- Ensure to address customers reported issue in real time and communicate as needed.
- Develop and manage RMA test plan and cases for RFID credential, Secure Issuance, Extended Access Technologies, Controllers and card reader products.
- Monitor and work closely with Operation to quarantine the non-conforming products and ensure action to be implemented real time.
- Control non-conforming products in accordance with HID drawings and verify timely corrective and preventative actions completion and effectiveness.
- Develop a repair center and establish workflow on the returned repairable products.
- Promote the use of preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), Measurement System Analysis, and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
- Supports new product development to deliver safe and effective products to the market.
- Assist in conducting quality training and be actively involved in our continuous improvement, preventive and corrective action, and Safety programs.
- Collaborate with Product Quality and Engineering on the test specification as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- College degree in a related field is preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in production/quality management.
- 2+ years of industry experience in Access Control, RFID Contactless card.
- Must be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Must be proficient with ISO 9001:2015 standard.
- Ability to effectively balance personal and professional life.
- ISO 9001 internal auditor certification.
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
- Ability to communicate and work with cross functional local / global teams.
- Employee works primarily in an office environment, within a well-ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels.
- May be exposed and/or work with chemicals as listed in our MSDS book.
- Compliance with all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
- Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
