Responsibilities:Configures, maintains, and operates routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and monitoring toolsInstalls physical equipment, connects cabling, organizes communication racks, and powers devices per documentationProactively monitors network infrastructure using monitoring tools, responds to alerts, and maintains updated topology documentationMentors, coaches, and shares knowledge with junior team membersActs as an escalation point for complex incidents and requestsIndependently handles routine network service requests, access provisioning, and documentationTroubleshoots and resolves major incidents, leads outage bridges, and performs root cause analysisOwns end-to-end network infrastructure projects (design, implementation, testing, and handover)Develops subject matter expertise in domains such as datacenter networking, firewalls, load balancing, or cloud networkingCollaborates with senior engineers on large-scale infrastructure projectsDesigns, deploys, configures, and troubleshoots Azure and AWS cloud networking solutionsExperience Required:6+ years of experience in core Networking and SecurityStrong experience in data security operations (administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and design)Hands-on experience with multi-vendor firewalls (Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Cisco Firepower, Fortinet, SonicWall, Palo Alto)Experience with security tools such as WAF, NIPS, Firewall Analyzer, and DDoS protectionStrong understanding of L3 routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)Experience with multi-vendor environments (Whitebox is a plus)Solid knowledge of networking technologies: TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS VPNs, VXLAN, MulticastExperience with DMVPN, IPSEC, and encryption standardsAzure Networking (Enhanced Requirement):Strong hands-on experience in deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Azure networking services, including:Virtual Networks (VNet), Subnets, IP Address ManagementNetwork Security Groups (NSG) and Azure Firewall policy configuration and troubleshootingAzure Load Balancer (L4) and Application Gateway (L7) setup, tuning, and issue resolutionAzure Front Door and Web Application Firewall (WAF) configuration and debuggingVPN Gateway (Site-to-Site, Point-to-Site) and ExpressRoute deployment and troubleshooting connectivity issuesUser Defined Routes (UDR) and Network Virtual Appliances (NVA) configuration and routing issue analysisAzure DNS, Traffic Manager, and Network Watcher for diagnostics and monitoringStrong experience in troubleshooting Azure network issues, including:Connectivity issues between VNets, subnets, and on-prem environmentsRouting misconfigurations and asymmetric routingNSG/Firewall rule conflicts and traffic dropsLoad balancing and application gateway backend health issuesVPN/ExpressRoute latency, packet drops, and tunnel failuresExperience designing and implementing hybrid cloud connectivity (On-prem to Azure)Strong understanding of Azure network security architecture and best practicesExperience with high availability, failover, and disaster recovery design in Azure networkingHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or TerraformCloud & Automation Skills:Knowledge of AWS networking and architectural principlesExperience with network automation using Python, Shell scripting, YAMLFamiliarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesEducation & Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)Preferred certifications:CCNA / CCNPSecurity+ITIL FoundationMicrosoft Azure Fundamentals / Azure Network Engineer AssociateKey Skills:Strong consulting and communication skillsAbility to work with internal and external stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities
