Job Title Software Technologist - Embedded CJob DescriptionYou are responsible forParticipating in the development of application softwareAnalyzing and understanding the Software/Functional Requirements SpecificationOwning the detailed design of the system.Comfortable in design, implementation, testing, and documentationEnsure quality by writing developer level tests (unit, component, etc.)Debugging defectsPerforming unit testing of the code.Contributing to Features/User stories for modules/SDS /Test strategyWorking with team for the quality and timely deliveries.Creating products according to the specifications and software development processCreating engineering documentations to comply with product development policies, practices and proceduresParticipates in peer reviews for project artifacts and ensure the quality of deliverablesSupporting project estimation, planning and risk management activitiesKeeping abreast of technical developments in own field through study, technical contacts and propagate itTo succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience5-7 years of experience with good Knowledge of C\C++ and Python programming languagesSound knowledge of Real Time OS, VX worksGood knowledge of serial communication and communication protocols (e.g RS232, RS422, USB, SPI etc)Basic knowledge of HW (e.g.microcontroller, A/D converter, i/o controls)Ability to learn, team orientation and independentBasic knowledge in the field of digital signal processing (optional)Basic knowledge of medical technology and human physiologyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsGood programming and debugging experienceExperience working with CI/CD pipelinesWorking experience in Agile/SAFe development methodologiesGood communication and documentation skillsAbility to stay focused on the target to deliver in agile manner.Openness to collaborate in interest of project/organizationWork experience on systems used in healthcare is a plus.Personal CharacteristicsExcellent communication and documentation skills.Self-starter, quick learner, ability to work with teams.Software Craftsmanship mindset.Proactive and self-driven, possesses due sense of urgency.Ability to stay focused on the target to deliver in agile manner.Openness to collaborate in interest of project/organization.Shall be very good technically; good problem solving abilities.Working with multisite teams, Quality conscious and Process & customer Oriented.How we work togetherWe believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
