As a Sr. Developer, you’ll be a key member of the Business Platforms team responsible for delivering error free applications, systems integrations and automations as per business needs. You will be responsible for assisting in technical designs and execution of the project/task assigned. You will also be responsible for project estimates and progress updates to internal stakeholders. These solutions will include custom development for business function needs, integration with Global and regional platforms team, maintaining and enhancements to existing platforms.Job Description:Sr. Developer/Engineer (DCF Level 30)Job Description:As a Sr. Developer, you’ll be a key member of the Business Platforms team responsible for delivering error free applications, systems integrations and automations as per business needs. These solutions will include custom development for business function needs, integration with Global and regional platforms team, maintaining and enhancements to existing platforms.Key Responsibilities
  • Understand the DGS business platforms and systems.
  • Understand the application development, integration and automation requirements.
  • Assist in creating specs documents and efforts estimates of the project/task assigned to him/her.
  • Responsible for error-free & timely delivery of project/task assigned to him/her.
  • Create and update documents/Jira stories for the project/task assigned to him/her.
  • Communicate the status updates, daily updates of project/task assigned to him/her.
  • Prioritize project tasks and seek assistance from supervisor as applicable.
  • Follow the application development standards and security procedures.
  • Mentoring junior resources.
Qualifications + Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in Python, ETL development.
  • Strong experience in SQL and data modelling.
  • Strong experience in MS PowerApps, Power Automate, MS Lists
  • Experience in AI/ML and cloud services like AWS, GCP, Azure is a plus.
  • Experience working within common delivery methodologies (e.g. agile and/or waterfall).
  • Good problem solving and business acumen.
  • Effective communication skills.
