Deputy General Manager - R2R Closing & Reporting

• This position is responsible for closing & reporting of financials with respect to the LE’s they have assigned.
• In the absence of the role, we have very limited opportunity to co-relate the financials results to business realities
• Absence of an effective bridge between the process oriented teams who work on their own processes and often not being able to see a larger picture
• Biz teams work through multiple stakeholders for closing their books of account in the absence of this role

• It will be closing and reporting leader role for book closing activities across LE and will be an individual contributor role to begin with.
• Role will work with stakeholders (business, GDC, corporate finance and any other stakeholder as required) within TML / its subsidiaries in ensuring book close activities and reporting requirements are met with the specified timelines and with quality.
• The role will work collaborate with the biz stakeholders and identity opportunities for transition to R2R. In addition, the role will also drive B/s & P&L variance commentary, including review of account reconciliations.
• The role also shall perform the function of being a partner from an R2R standpoint to support any changes within the business such as re-org’s.
• The role will also be responsible to drive multi-year transformational projects and drive strategic business initiatives and partnership with biz teams.

• Qualified CA/ CMA

• Minimum 10 year experience in closing and financial reporting
• Have experience in working with different levels of finance and business operation teams / leadership Experience in financial analysis of balance sheet & P&L and driving commentary for variances.
• Experience in driving account reconciliation process at an entity level including preparation / review of such reconciliations
• Experience in initiation and driving change management projects through business process transformation / re-engineering.
• Working knowledge of SAP Handling statutory / internal audit and ensure smooth closure.
