- Project Delivery: Understand client requirements, project scope and deliverables; direct project delivery and client meetings under overall guidance of Managers and Directors; work with team members on Assess-Design-Develop-Deliver-Monitor process while taking ownership on various modules / projects; team work and coordination with internal and external stakeholders etc.
- Engage in delivery of defined project objectives, leveraging past team experiences and Deloitte tools & methodologies
- Business Development: assist the team in development of work opportunities, client requirement analysis, development of EoI/proposals, client presentations, etc.
- Practice Development: Support in learning and development initiatives for the team/project/organization.
- Thought Leadership: Contribute to research, analysis and delivery of thought leadership reports (global and domestic)
- Coordinate with the rest of the verticals/ groups/ firm / global team to ensure successful pursuits / delivery of projects
- Excellent education background with graduation in engineering/ planning/ management/ commerce/ economics. For AM post-graduation in related field would be desirable
- Problem-solving capabilities and an attitude to leverage resources to best solve / address the task at hand
- Self-motivated team player with ability to work with teams
- Ability to seamlessly function across sectors, flexibility with extensive travelling and working from Client site. Willingness and adaptability to change
- Effective business communication (written and oral) skills are a critical requirement and the individual must be able to interact effectively.
- Advice on issues pertaining to Public-Private Partnerships across the project life cycle
- Assist in Transaction Advisory, Bid Advisory and Bid Process Management
- Preparation of robust financial models
- Review transaction documents and support the team though all stages the transaction or project execution phase
- Project manage the transaction process and be the primary point of contact for day to day matters
- Support on business development initiatives. Responsible for creation of pitch books and other deliverables
- High commitment to learn and deliver across the transaction lifecycle.
- Mentoring and supporting fellow team members on engagementsEligibility criteria and requirements:- Bachelors in engineering (in discipline: Civil/Mechanical/Electrical preferred) / Bachelors in planning and Post-graduation in management / MBA.
- 2-7 years of work relevant experience in Infrastructure finance and Public-Private Partnerships including experience related to business plan formulation, investment decisions and business case/techno-financial feasibilities preparation, project financing and funding, financial analysis and modeling, transaction advisory and similar work
- Excellent academic track record
- Strong report writing and reviewing skills, with an appropriate focus on attention to detail, conciseness and risk management
- Strong excel skills - quick and accurate manipulation of data and ability to create and review complex financial models and conduct valuations
- Strong commercial acumen and market awareness
