Requisition ID40800BRBusiness UnitTSUJob DescriptionJob SummaryThe Mechanical / Process BIM Modeler is expected to perform variety of design/3D modelling/drafting activities including, but not limited to preparing and updating 2D plans and sections, 3D equipment modelling, pipeline modelling and layout, orthographic generation, isometric extraction including support detailing, converting point cloud scans to BIM, etc.Job DescriptionCDM Smith is seeking an exceptionally skilled and experienced Lead Revit Process Mechanical Piping Modeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and a strong background in Revit process mechanical piping modeling. As a Lead Revit Process Mechanical Piping Modeler, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and management of detailed 3D models of mechanical piping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Lead the development and maintenance of detailed 3D models of mechanical piping systems using advanced features of Autodesk Revit software.

Utilize Dynamo for Revit to automate repetitive tasks and enhance modeling efficiency.

Integrate point cloud data into Revit models to ensure accurate representation of existing conditions.

Collaborate with project teams to ensure models meet project requirements and standards.

Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts within the models.

Generate construction documents, including plans, sections, and details from the 3D models.

Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated and accurate models.

Provide technical support and guidance to junior modelers and other team members.

Review and validate models for accuracy and completeness.

Participate in project meetings and provide input on modeling-related issues.

Mentor and train junior modelers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in BIM, Revit mechanical piping modeling, and Dynamo.

Experience in WTP/WWTP or Industrial plants.

Should be interested and able to work in an international environment.

Demonstrate strong understanding and experience in delivering LOD 200 to 400 BIM.

model using any BIM Software.

Knowledge of Plant 3D, Civil 3D and BIM 360 will be advantageous.
