Manager - Reporting - Python/Power BI & SQL - 6+ Years - GurgaonLocation - GurgaonSummary - We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Manager - Reporting to lead reporting and insights for distribution functions at one of leading Insurance Company. This leadership role within the BPMA (Business Performance Management and Analytics) team involves transforming data into insights, driving automation, and fostering a strong data culture across the organization.Your Future Employer - India's leading non-bank life insurer and the 4th largest private player, with a strong presence across 140+ cities and a workforce of over 25,000. Define and drive the business intelligence roadmap and promote a data-first culture.
Deliver timely and accurate reports/dashboards supporting distribution and CXO teams.
Standardize and automate reporting processes across functions and teams.
Lead a team of 3+ professionals and coach them into high-performing BI experts.
Partner with tech and data teams to develop robust data infrastructure and digital assets.
Develop solutions that promote data democratization and self-service analytics.
Integrate insights and analytics into business reporting for actionable intelligence.
Collaborate closely with distribution leaders to identify KPIs and performance levers.

Requirements -

Master's degree in a quantitative field (M.Sc., M.Tech., MBA preferred).
6-8 years of experience in business reporting, preferably in the BFSI industry.
Proficient in Python, SQL, and Power BI; experience with BI tools like SSRS, SAP BO is a plus.
Strong grasp of data architecture, data lakes, and warehousing concepts.
Experience in streamlining, automating, and scaling BI/reporting functions.
Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.
Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
