A DM Plant Operator is responsible for the operation and maintenance of a Demineralization (DM) plant, which removes dissolved minerals from water used in industrial processes. They monitor and control plant equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant water production, while also maintaining water quality. This involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.Key Responsibilities:Plant Operation and Monitoring:Starting, monitoring, and shutting down DM plant equipment, including pumps, valves, and filters.Water Quality Control:Regularly testing water samples for parameters like pH, conductivity, TDS, and silica to ensure it meets required specifications.Process Adjustment:Adjusting treatment processes and chemical dosages based on water quality analysis and standard operating procedures.Maintenance and Troubleshooting:Performing routine maintenance on plant equipment, identifying and resolving operational issues, and conducting minor repairs.Record Keeping:Maintaining accurate logs of plant operations, including daily activities, test results, and maintenance records.Safety and Compliance:Ensuring adherence to all safety and environmental regulations, as well as responding to emergencies.Collaboration:Working with other plant operators, engineers, and maintenance personnel.Additional Duties:

Equipment Calibration: Calibrating laboratory instruments used for water quality testing.

Reporting: Preparing reports on plant operations, water quality, and maintenance activities.

Training: Participating in plant safety and training programs.

Inventory Management: Managing the inventory of chemicals and other necessary supplies.
