Position SummaryA Principal Consultant is responsible for the configuration and troubleshooting of performance management solutions to meet the client’s business and technical requirements. In this role, the Principal Consultant acts as the primary technical contact with full ownership of the relationship between OpenSymmetry and our clients from a technical perspective. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with our client base within India and the APAC region.Responsibilities in this role also include supporting and troubleshooting solutions for customers in a live production environment. Additionally, you may also work within the software implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering, design, build, testing and go-live. Principal Consultants will work as mentors to junior team members while carrying out the tasks to perform investigations, root cause analysis, and defect resolution for our array of clientele.This position at OpenSymmetry is an outstanding career with endless potential. Configure complex business scenarios within the Varicent platform
Develop technical solutions to new or highly complex problems that cannot be solved using existing methods or approaches
Establish procedures to ensure high quality of work (team meetings, deliverable reviews, peer reviews, etc.)
Use best practices and standards to organize and keep track of information or work
Ensure needed resources and skill sets required are represented on the team and actively manage scope to avoid scope creep
Evaluate team member’s deliverables and provide honest feedback and corrective actions to ensure quality and accuracy required
Actively pursue alternative ideas and ways of working to maintain budget
Weigh the costs, benefits, risks and chances for success when making a recommendation or decision
Anticipate potential problems and develop contingency plans in advance
Be sought out as an expert to provide advice or solutions in higher technical area
Develop strategies in which ensure win-win solutions for all parties

RequirementsRequirements

5+ years of configuration experience within the Varicent platform

5+ years w/ external client facing experience
Expert skillsets in Excel / Spreadsheet software
Expert level communication skills including writing, listening and speaking
