Experience: 12-18 years (preferably in automotive or auto components industry)Job Summary:We are Looking a highly experienced and strategic Cost Controller at GM/AGM level to lead cost management, budgeting, and forecasting initiatives across plants in Pune and Binola. The ideal candidate must be a Qualified CMA with a strong background in the automotive industry, having worked extensively in costing, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage plant costing operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of product costing and cost allocation.
- Prepare and review monthly/quarterly/annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans in coordination with plant heads and senior management.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives and analyze variances between actual and standard costs, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Conduct regular margin analysis, make vs. buy decisions, and capacity utilization studies.
- Partner with production, procurement, and operations teams to monitor cost drivers and implement cost control strategies.
- Manage inventory valuation, WIP, overhead absorption, and product costing standards.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial controls.
- Prepare periodic reports for management, highlighting key trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Support financial audits, internal audits, and participate in cross-functional cost improvement projects.
- CMA qualified with 12-18 years of relevant experience in cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Must have experience working in automobile/automotive/auto component manufacturing companies.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and financial acumen.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Excel/Power BI.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel between Pune and Binola locations as per business needs.
