You will directly support the India leadership in leading a team of project managers. You we be an essential part of the team, and integral to keeping team members aligned, providing timely deliverables as initiatives are launched, and grow the construction function. Collaborating with other teams in the region to ensure best practice and consistency across the India projects. You will be also directly responsible for profitability of projects and accurate financial reporting.What you're responsible for:Business/Financial

Ensuring projects meet local sales and financial targets
Ensuring engagements have appropriate commercial terms aligned to the organisation and are locally compliant
Developing and executing the local reporting strategy including forecasting sales, projected revenues and profitability on projects.
Ensuring that all monthly project financial reports are reviewed for accuracy and profitability.

People/Team

Collaborating with Regional Managing Director(s) and Regional Principals
Driving high engagement with the team locally.
Ensuring project delivery teams are extensively trained in Unispace methodology.

Job Specific - Operational Excellence, Risk etc

Driving project delivery best practices, processes and technology in collaboration with the Regional Managing Director
Undertaking lessons learned project reviews
Assisting Project Managers to ensure local risk management plans are implemented, when required, and ensuring appropriate action is taken.
Having a thorough understanding of project risk and implement mitigation plans

Your qualifications and experience:

Excellent design and build understanding.

At least 15 years' experience in commercial construction. Ideally, corporate fit out.
Experience working in international firms are desired.
Contract finance and background would be an added advantage.
Should be aware of construction law and local practices.
Experience in integrated comprehensive construction accounting suites like Vista.
Strong financial acumen.
Attention to detail in assessing quotes, drawings and detailed scopes of work.
Proactive problem-solving skills, anticipating issues and proposing solutions.
Ability to think ahead and plan proactively.
Strong communication skills, confident in interactions with trades and project teams.
