Job Description:Senior Sales Development RepresentativeWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Sales Development Representative to drive strategic growth for EXL Services across the UK and EU markets. This individual will lead a team of 6–8 Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and own the end-to-end execution of demand generation and lead conversion strategies in collaboration with sales, marketing, and practice leaders.The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a consultative approach to market development. Prior experience in analytics, digital operations, and digital transformation in the IT services ecosystem is a must.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Performance ManagementLead, coach, and mentor a team of 6–8 BDRs to achieve pipeline generation and sales-qualified lead (SQL) targets.Set performance goals, review KPIs, and drive continuous improvement through structured feedback and training.Collaborate closely with sales leadership and marketing to align team strategy with overall growth objectives.Strategic Market DevelopmentDesign and execute go-to-market strategies tailored to the UK–EU region and BCM-specific challenges.Drive outbound and inbound campaigns to generate quality leads across banks, capital market firms, and financial services institutions.Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, leveraging thought leadership and market insights.Prospecting & Engagement StrategyIdentify high-potential accounts through market research, segmentation, and account profiling.Oversee the creation of persona-based messaging aligned with industry pain points, value propositions, and EXL’s service offerings.Work with marketing to localize messaging and content for the UK–EU audience.Collaboration & EnablementPartner with sales, solution, and marketing teams to support opportunity progression and handoff of qualified leads.Act as a liaison between the BDR team and regional sales leads to ensure alignment on priorities and execution.Foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration across inside sales teams.Reporting, Tools & AnalyticsLeverage Salesforce and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, Salesloft, Groove) to track team performance, campaign outcomes, and individual productivity.Provide regular reporting to sales and growth leadership on pipeline health, funnel metrics, and lead conversion trends.Drive usage of analytics to inform strategic decisions and campaign refinements.Qualifications & SkillsRequiredBachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).8+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, or demand generation in the IT services, analytics, or digital transformation domains.Proven track record in managing and scaling a high-performing inside sales team.Strong understanding of the UK and EU financial services landscape, especially in Banking and Capital Markets.Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.PreferredExposure to global delivery models and experience working with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams.Understanding of domain-specific buyer personas (e.g., CIO, Head of Digital, Chief Data Officer).Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision-making skills.Why Join EXLWork at the intersection of data, digital, and domain to help global clients solve complex business problems.Take ownership of high-impact initiatives with direct visibility to senior leadership.Shape EXL’s market presence across strategic UK and EU financial services accounts.
