full-time or ContractJOB OVERVIEWThe Senior Statistical Programmer is responsible for producing basic analysis displays and information from theclinical data management database and programing all tables, listings, and graphs necessary for a clinical studyreport in accordance with Atorus and/or sponsor standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Clinical Practice(GCP), ICH Guidelines and sponsor requirements.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES· Create and/or quality control (QC) SAS datasets of clinical data from clinical databases; create and/or QCsafety data sets; create efficacy datasets; create project specific macros and formats; load client data fromother platforms and other software packages; prepare data to be sent to clients· Mandatory skill - Hands-on experience with CDISC/SDTM/ADaM programming.· Prepare and/or review documentation describing all datasets and variables within, including derivedvariables, and the project as a whole· Perform data checks as needed, to ensure integrity and correctness of data displays. Preparedocumentation for programs· Program and/or QC customized data displays, (including data listings, summary tables and routinegraphics) in accordance with approved statistical analysis plan and shell displays for clinical researchstudies. Code is to be written using Base SAS programs, SAS procedures, R, or standardized macros.Perform data checks as needed to understand structure and content of data· Assume responsibilities for data transfers, including documentation· Act as lead programmer for projects· Handle miscellaneous tasks as assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS· University degree in computer science or math degree or equivalent.· 5+ years clinical programming or SAS programming experience.· Proficiency in at least one of SAS, SAS Macro, R, Python language.· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.· Some travel required for meetings.
