You’ll work across the project lifecycle, assisting in system design, integration, testing, and commissioning, and gain hands-on experience with SCADA, HMI, and grid management platforms.   • Support project engineering teams in understanding and documenting system requirements.
  • Assist with SCADA system configuration and database preparation.
  • Help integrate field devices (RTUs) using standard utility protocols (e.g., IEC104, DNP3) and troubleshoot as necessary.
  • Contribute to test execution for system validation and acceptance.
  • Participate in software and hardware installation tasks under supervision.
  • Collaborate on project documentation, training materials, and progress tracking.
  • Travel as needed to customer sites with experienced team members.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation engineering, Computer enginering, or related fields.
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience.
  • Academic or internship exposure to SCADA systems, grid automation, or control systems is good to have.
  • Basic understanding of utility domains (Electricity, Gas, Water, Renewables)
  • Familiarity with engineering protocols or data communication concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, OSI model, etc.) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming (C#, Python, or similar scripting experience); SQL knowledge is good to have.
  • Interest in learning about RDBMS tools (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL), HMI tools, and networking.
  • Basic awareness of operating systems, networks, and system architectures.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset, communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel as per project needs, usually limited to ~25% of the time.
