Job profile for Warehouse Manager Reporting to: Head of Operations Location: Kapurthala, Punjab The incumbent will be deployed at a fully mechanized state-of-the-art warehouse of India's largest FMCG company. This facility is co-located with an Integrated Foods Plant and offers all the facilities of a high-tech production environment. The warehouse is based on automated racking systems and equipped with mechanized handling equipment. The incumbent will not just be managing the warehouse operations but will be dealing with stakeholders from the client side to ensure seamless flow of activities. The warehouse is spread over 3.5 lakh square feet and is built with a capex of approx. 200 Cr. The team size deployed at the warehouse will be 85-90 headcount excluding labour. Preferred Qualifications and Skill Sets Mandatory Minimum 10 years work experience in a warehouse manager/ assistant manager profile in a modern warehouse setup or in-plant warehouse setup with managerial responsibilities in a large organization Bachelor degree(BE/ BSc) or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation ERP understanding and exposure in previous job roles Warehouse operations auditing and operating cost control Very good written communication skills with focus on MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Preferred Business Management Diploma or Certification Experience of having handled WMS/TMS enabled operations Worked on operations quality/improvement tasks/projects Understanding of Quality Initiatives and certifications such as GWP, ISO, FSSAI Good grasp of digital technologies and trends related to logistics and supply chain management such as Automated Storage & Retrieval System, Carton Flow Racks, Conveyor Systems Key Responsibility Areas 1. Overall responsibility of operations management as per client SLA 2. Enforcement of client SOP and inventory accuracy at all times 3. Conduct of Client Performance Management System activity 4. Controlling overall budget and spend reporting internally 5. Supervision of IT systems such as Warehouse Management System, Warehouse Component System, Hand held Terminals 6. Overall supervision of Security Infrastructure and vendor 7. Contingency planning and management 8. Supervision of maintenance of MHEs and high cost automation equipment 9. Man management and team leadership is extremely important 10. Communication with client stakeholders on mail and phone and internal communication with management.
