Join us as we pursue our purpose to make the world work better for everyone.Job DescriptionWhat you get to do in this role:As a Software Engineer in the ITAM Content Service team, you will build innovative solutions at the intersection of enterprise applications and AI technologies. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Develop end-to-end features in our Content Infrastructure by implementing scalable JavaScript-based solutions and integrating with modern AI technologies
  • Work with AI services and help integrate models from providers like OpenAI, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude into enterprise workflows
  • Implement clean, scalable, and reusable code following industry best practices (code reviews, unit testing, documentation)
  • Create custom user interfaces and widgets using JavaScript frameworks to deliver intuitive user experiences
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs that enable seamless interaction between applications and AI-powered services
  • Learn and implement basic prompt engineering and retrieval augmented generation (RAG) techniques to enhance AI capabilities
  • Gain domain expertise in IT Asset Management and contribute to enhancing content curation workflows
  • Collaborate with product management, application developers, content specialists, and quality teams to deliver high-value solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise, contributing to the overall stability of our platform
QualificationsRequired:
  • 3-5 years of professional software development experience with strong JavaScript proficiency
  • Experience building end to end web applications, including exposure to databases.
  • Experience with server-side JavaScript and object-oriented JS patterns
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design and consumption
  • Bachelor's degree/Master's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience with or willingness to learn ServiceNow platform application development
Strongly Preferred:
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks / object-oriented JS patterns
  • Interest in or exposure to AI technologies and their applications
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to platform-specific constraints
Nice to Have:
  • ServiceNow platform development experience
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering or LLM integration concepts
  • Experience with AngularJS (used in ServiceNow Service Portal)
  • Background in enterprise application development
