About the Role: Qventus is looking for a Senior Engineer and Team Lead for our newly created Tooling team. Tooling exists to scale our solutions, ensuring our internal & external stakeholders have the tools they need to succeed. The team drives the design, development, and management of internal tools aimed at enhancing data management and product configuration to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products to new and existing clients and enable non-technical users to optimize our solutions as needed to optimize outcomes - enabling Qventus to deliver the products & results that improve the lives of patients and doctors across the country. As the Lead for Tooling, you will ensure we design & build impactful tools that work seamlessly with our larger Qventus architecture to support the timely and high-quality delivery of core services to our clients. You will lead the technical design & development of tools such as automated ingestion validation services, configuration management & metadata collection, and optimization interfaces that allow end users to tune our ML interventions to their needs. You will work closely with the PM and cross-functional leaders to ensure our tooling strategy delivers value to the organization. You will be excited and passionate about having an impact at Qventus. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and improvement of internal tools, ensuring they integrate effectively with the Qventus architecture. Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional leaders to align the tooling strategy with organizational goals, ensuring that tools deliver value and enhance the client experience. Oversee the lifecycle of technical solutions from design through design, prototyping, development, and implementation; incl. evaluation, selection, and integration of appropriate cloud/on-premise/open-source platforms and services to support tool development Collaborate with core R&D teams to develop and maintain robust data monitoring and data validation strategies to stabilize & streamline our hospital integrations. What We're Looking For: Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing the full lifecycle of software development and deployment. Strong fundamentals in data management and software engineering; proficient with modern data architectures, programming languages (Python preferred), and DevOps practices (CI/CD, automated testing, etc.) Hands-on experience developing intuitive tools (data entry, validation, simulations, etc.) for non/semi-technical users excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams It's a Plus if You Have Experience in healthcare technology or a related field, with an understanding of the challenges and regulations specific to the healthcare industry. Familiarity with front-end development technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and principles of user interface design, to contribute to tooling that is both effective and user-friendly for non-technical users. Experience with low-code application builders (Superblocks) Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and data analytics tools, which can be advantageous for developing and optimizing ML-based interventions or insights within the tools.
