Job Purpose:To drive sales growth, productivity, and compliance within the assigned Circle through effective leadership of a team of Territory Heads / Cluster Managers. The Circle Head will be responsible for expanding the distribution network, maintaining partner relationships (in Bancassurance), and ensuring a high-performance culture aligned with the organization's business goals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Business Growth & Revenue GenerationDrive the achievement of Circle-level new business premium (NBP), persistency, and product mix targets.Monitor and analyze daily/monthly performance metrics to ensure achievement of sales objectives.Execute strategic plans to penetrate underperforming areas and grow market share. 2. Team Leadership & DevelopmentManage and mentor a team of Territory/Cluster Heads and their respective teams (Agency Leaders, Sales Managers, or Relationship Managers).Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions where needed.Ensure capability-building through training, upskilling, and succession planning. 3. Channel Management (as per channel type):Agency:Expand the agent network and improve activation rates.Ensure licensing, onboarding, and productivity enhancement of agents and agency leaders.Bancassurance:Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior leadership at bank branches and clusters.Drive branch-wise activation and bank staff engagement through joint activities, training, and performance reviews.Direct / Alternate Channels:Drive productivity of in-house sales team, telesales, or digital channels within the Circle. 4. Process & ComplianceEnsure all sales processes comply with IRDAI guidelines and internal policies.Maintain high levels of quality in documentation, reporting, and audit readiness.Monitor persistency, mis-selling, and other compliance parameters closely. 5. Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with internal departments like Training, Operations, HR, and Marketing to drive business outcomes.Represent the Circle in zonal and national-level reviews and planning sessions
