Job Role: Senior OHS&E ManagerLocation: ChennaiExperience: 6+ yearsEducation: Diploma in Safety Engineering/ B.E/B.Tech in Fire and Safety/ M.E/M.Tech in Industrial Safety.Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and improve OHS&E policies and management systems as per ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards.
Ensure full compliance with local, national, and international HSE laws and regulations. Act as the key liaison with regulatory bodies, clients, and external auditors on HSE matters.
Lead and manage the HSE team, including officers, coordinators, and site safety personnel.
Provide mentoring, training, and performance evaluations for the HSE team to build capability.
Oversee hazard identification, risk assessments (HIRAC, JSA), and implementation of control measures.
Lead incident and near-miss investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions. Develop and deliver safety training programs and promote a proactive safety culture.
Conduct site inspections, audits, compliance checks, and prepare detailed HSE performance reports with KPIs. Support projects in pre-construction planning, design reviews, contractor vetting, and ensure HSE integration throughout the project lifecycle.
