You will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights using Power BI in the APJ regionA day in the Life:
  • Collaborate with business partners to gather data requirements, analyze data sources, and design dashboards that provide valuable insights.
  • Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Build visually appealing and interactive Power BI dashboards that enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
  • Monitor and optimize solutions for performance, scalability, and data refresh efficiency.
  • Collaborate with data governance to implement standard processes to maintain data quality and security.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of Power BI solutions, data models, and processes for operational support and compliance.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring for junior developers.
Keys to Success:Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
Experience
  • 6+ years of proven experience as a Power BI Developer/BI Engineer, with proven expertise in complex data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
  • Strong expertise in SQL (optimization, stored procedures, indexing, query tuning)
  • Understanding of Databricks and AWS technologies –Redshift, Athena, S3, EC2 etc.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Advanced Power BI expertise – row-level security, paginated reports, dataflows, composite models, deployment pipelines.
  • Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and extraction.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and collaborative environment.
