Eccentric's mission - We are building a Showroom-like experience in a virtual world where a vehicle buyer Can take a 3D walkthrough of all models/variants/trims on sale Can customize the vehicle and see exactly how it looks like and how much it will cost Can take a 'Virtual Consultation' with a sales agent in the virtual world (some like to call it Metaverse) About the role - We're seeking an experienced 3D artist to lead the creation of top-quality models and assets for our projects. You'll collaborate with team leads, mentor junior artists, and ensure projects meet deadlines and quality standards. Proficiency in Maya, Blender, and Photoshop is essential, along with strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Experience with hard surface and automotive projects is a bonus. Responsibilities : Lead and oversee the creation of high-quality 3D models, textures, and assets, ensuring adherence to project requirements and artistic direction. Collaborate with the team lead and project stakeholders to define project deliverables, timelines, and technical specifications. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior artists, assisting them in achieving their full potential. Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deliverables, meeting project milestones and deadlines. Maintain a high level of quality in work output, while continuously pushing the boundaries of creativity and technical skills. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure seamless integration and consistency across the project. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques, and share knowledge and insights with the team. Assist in the optimization and streamlining of the 3D development process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the smooth progression of projects. Provide feedback and constructive critiques to team members to help improve the overall quality of work. Requirements : Extensive experience in 3D modeling, texturing, and asset creation for games, films, or other interactive media. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, such as Maya, Blender, and Photoshop. Knowledge on these Software would Be Plus ZBrush, 3ds Max, Unreal Engine, Unity. Strong understanding of 3D modeling techniques, topology, texturing, UV mapping, and asset optimization. Solid knowledge of lighting, shading, rendering, and other aspects of the 3D pipeline. Excellent artistic and technical skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. Leadership and team management abilities, with experience in guiding and mentoring junior artists. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate ideas and feedback to team members and stakeholders. A portfolio demonstrating a high level of proficiency and creativity in 3D modeling and texturing. Hard Surface and Automotive Centric Portfolio would be Plus.
