Position Value1.Understand latest and cost-efficient engineering solution through technical benchmark2.Learn the engineering excellent practices from high-performance vehicle products across the world3.Co-work with OEM or Tiers to attend in new product development phase4.Communicate with global technical or costing experts5.Utilize technical insights databaseResponsibilities and duties1.Complete and report relevant analysis reports according to customer requirements2.Research and investigate cost parameters and technical parameters3.Execute product cost calculation and provide cost optimization ideas or target cost4.Timely coordinate to solve problems to ensure project normal deliveryKEY MEASURES & INDICATORS (main KPIs used in the role)1.Generate technical insights report, costing calculation and report, DtC/VAVE ideas and report as per the tasks assigned by manager and according to required quality standardsRequirementsQualifications and skills1.More than 5 years experience/knowledge of Air Conditioner/Cabin heating/Water cooling (in descending order of importance) in the function of Product Development, Cost Engineering, Purchasing, SQE/STA, Lean Manufacturing or Value Engineering;2.Experience on BOM cost calculation or VAVE from supplier chain, material and manufacturing process3.Welding (Brazing)/Precise machining/TMS related electronic technology manufacturing and costing knowledge4.English written & oral, overseas study experience is a plus5.Bachelor or above degree in mechanical, electronics, industrial engineering or related area6.Good communication skills and teamwork spirit7.Strong adaptability and flexibility, innovative spirit
