Interior Designer - Reports to: Sr. Architect/ ADM/DDMThis position requires good understanding of design and spaces to develop interior drawings and details as per the finalized design under the guidance of Senior Architect/ Design Manager to produce error free and timely output.This role also involves coordination with vendors for selection of materials and exploring new building materials introduced in the market. He/she will also be involved in site, PMC, client and consultant coordination to ensure smooth execution of the project.Areas to cover:1.Design development of interiors (schematic stage)2.Drawing development (all stages)3.Material selection4.Vendor coordination5.Consultant coordination6.Site coordination7.Preparing material boards for presentationsKey Interactions : With Internal & External Team (Vendors / Consultant)Accountabilities & Responsibilities :Design development of interiors (schematic stage)Enhance present ability of the drawings by using various softwareProviding inputs to the 3D team for developing basic 3D modelsDrawing development of interiors (all stages)Develop detail drawings of interiors as per the inputs given by the Sr. Architect and vendorsMaterial selectionSelect the materials as per the client requirement/liking and the project themeCoordinate with various material vendors for rates and material applicationVendor coordinationCoordinate with various vendors (flooring material, ceiling material, lighting, glass, laminates and veneer, signage, sanitary fixings, interior furniture, interior dcor material etc.) for material selectionConsultant coordinationCoordination with structural and service consultant for design development and executionSite CoordinationCoordination with project managers to explain the design and drawingsTo make revision in the design/ drawings as per site condition and client requirementPreparing material boards for presentationsProviding inputs on interior materialsPreparing the boards for presentationsEducation: 12th/ graduation plus diploma/degree in Interior DesignExperience : 5 to 10 years of experience with an architectural consultant/ interior designing firm.
