GeneralThis role is responsible for overall Air Cargo related activities of assigned Region.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesCommercial Responsibility· Responsible for the financial result of all profit centres related to Air Import/Export· Responsible for achieving budget targets defined for the department· Responsible for set-up and continuous improvement of work-flow and operational procedures within the department· KPIs checkProduct Development/Management· Implementing corporate and national product strategy and SOPs within own department· Responsible for the development of the business within own profit center -gain additional business from existing or new clientsOperational Responsibility· Own handling of Air Import/Export transports, in compliance with thecompany'srules, SOPsandmanagementinstructions· Responsible for the compliance of each physical and electronic transport file(own and team members)· Informing and collecting information from clients, suppliers, agents,partners,customs bodies regarding the handled transports· Responding to requests for quotation with appropriate solution and price offer,within timeline defined by the company.· Receivingandhandlinginvoicesfromsuppliersforthehandledtransports· Handling damages and deficits of shipments according to relevant SOPs,immediatecommunicationoftheproblemsrelatedtohandledtransports· Supervision of the department's employees activity and handled Air transports; troubleshooting and/or escalation where required.Offering full support to Sales in finding appropriate t solution for their requests andacompetitiverate.Leadership responsibility- Responsible for the continuous check and update of job specific knowledge of team members,suggesting trainings when needed- Responsible for the onboarding and training of new team members- Setting performance targets for each direct subordinate and evaluating them periodically(quarterly)- Responsible for the compliance of department´s employees with the company rules.Level of EducationGraduate in any discipline.
