The role involves working with materials such as mild steel (MS), plywood, acrylic, and fiberglass to create exciting game arenas, along with assembling, repairing, and maintaining RC cars, robots, and drones.
No prior robotics experience is required — complete training will be provided in fabrication, equipment assembly, maintenance, and safety procedures.Key Responsibilities1. Arena Fabrication & Assembly
- Build and assemble Robo PlayZone arenas using MS frames, plywood, acrylic sheets, fiberglass, and other materials.
- Perform cutting, grinding, drilling, and finishing work.
- Follow design drawings and measurements for accurate builds.
- Apply painting, polishing, and protective coatings as required.
- Inspect arenas for wear, damage, or loose fittings.
- Carry out timely repairs to maintain functionality and safety.
- Ensure arenas are clean, well-maintained, and event-ready.
- Assemble, repair, and maintain RC cars, robots, and drones.
- Test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Safely charge, discharge, and store Li-ion/LiPo batteries.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables.
- Transport and install arenas and equipment at malls, cafes, exhibitions, and event venues.
- Dismantle and pack setups after events.
- Work flexible hours, including night shifts, for venue setup/removal.
- Follow safety protocols for cutting, grinding, and electrical tools.
- Always use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Handle batteries and electrical components according to safety guidelines.
- Education: Diploma/ITI in Mechanical, Electrical, Fabrication, or related fields.
- Basic skills in fabrication, carpentry, or mechanical work (preferred but not mandatory).
- Willingness to learn robotics, RC vehicles, and drone maintenance.
- Ability to work at heights, lift heavy materials, and travel for events.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility for night shifts during event setups/dismantling.
- Arena fabrication techniques (MS, plywood, acrylic, fiberglass).
- Robotics & RC equipment assembly and maintenance.
- Safe Li-ion/LiPo battery charging, discharging, and handling.
- Event setup & dismantling procedures.
- Workplace safety and PPE usage.
- Promotion to Senior Fabrication & Maintenance Technician or Team Leader based on skills and performance.
- Cross-training in advanced robotics, drone technology, and arena design.
