within SAP Concur.The technical Consultant's role is to install, configure, integrate and test SAP Concur software for client
implementations. Responsible for the technical configuration of customer specific environments, including
all integration, interfaces and technical settings. Working in tandem and collaborating with the SAP Concur
project managers, solution consultants and sales. The technical consultant completes the project
milestones, builds the environments, provides client knowledge transfer, assists in integration work and
transition the client to their production environment.This position will be based out of Concur's Bangalore office and requires working hours & days (0600pm0300am IST) aligned to support North American clients that are based on the Standard/Professional PlatformWhat you will do:
Provide technical expertise on integration, feeds, loads and extracts
Handle the setup and scheduling of all interfaces and system jobs
Provide technical expertise on SSO (single sign on)
Working directly on SAP Concur's database
Be a technical resource on a project and Helping with system performance related issues
Spin-up - to prepare the new system for configuration
FTP/PGP setup with client - secure data exchange method for automated integration
Setting up jobs within the system (imports/extracts/Credit cards…)
Testing and advising on imports - Employee, list and other imports troubleshooting
Testing and advising on the use of SAE file - how to get the right data in to client's financial
system
Security adjustments - whitelisting of concur on client's side for best possible experience
Purge - moving system into production ready status, getting rid of all test data within the system
Direct R/W access to Expense DB - troubleshooting, updating, changing data, clearing
hierarchies etcIn order to accomplish this, you will need to:
- Maintain all environments throughout the lifecycle of an implementation (Configuration, Test,
- Ability to lead client training and knowledge transfer sessions
- Configure all interfaces ERP, Employee, Credit Card, EFT
- Perform general issue troubleshooting and resolution, including escalations to Development
- Communicate "best practice" recommendations based on prior experiences, and effectively
issues
- Support client's testing cycles - research complex customer problems, issues, and circumstances
Responsible for the migration of configurations between test and production environments
- Liaison with client team members and Concur internal resources to ensure understanding and
- Ensure completion of deliverables, manage schedules, meet milestones, and ensure
- Develop and maintain technical product knowledge
- Provide contributions to Concur project methodology and document library, which includes
- Update Customer Statistics in Knowledgebase and/or CRM systems
- Represent the Department on cross-functional teams
- Communicate consistently and regularly client issue status and progress with the Project
- Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical work experience
- Basic MS SQL skills, running DB query and troubleshooting
- Experience with FTP and PGP file encryption (or similar)
- Strong working knowledge of flat files, XML files, and Excel spreadsheets
- Understanding of data format conversion
- Analysis and troubleshooting skills with good communication & presentation skills
- SAP Concur Travel & Expense experience
- Experience with SAML SSO technologies, IDP and/or SP-Init
- Experience with ERP or HR systems integration, and/or implementation of cloud environments
- Basic Accounting Principles knowledge and Project management experience
- Experience working with 3 major credit card provider's data and banking payment gateways etc.
- Understanding of business travel and travel agency data
- Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts quickly
- Strong knowledge of software & technology, specifically around web technology, financial system
- Strong trouble-shooting skills/problem solving skills - ability to critically analyze issues and
- Ability to be self-directed and work independently, prioritize workload, self-directed & work
- Ability to pass a background check
