- Process planning and PPAP of plastic injection molded components and associated processes such as welding.
- Feasibility study for changes in product/mold modification. Ensuring smooth running of molds, molding operation and other manufacturing operations related to molded components.
- Make each process capable.
- Validate & qualify each process
- Increase production efficiency and Quality through improvements on line.
- Feasibility study for new components/assemblies as well as modification of existing components/assemblies requiring plastic injection process.
- Set the process for injection molded parts.
- Solving quality problems using root cause analysis during day to day activity.
- Process validation, process audits and process capability studies.
- Drive process improvements (Quality and productivity) for meeting world class quality and productivity.
- Maintain quality system and documentation.
- To solve quality related issue in QCM and BPR and action plan for the same.
- Knowledge of JIG and FIXTURE design, Manufacturing and validation of is desirable.
- Root cause identification and problem solving using problem solving tools such as 8D, DOE, SPC etc.
- Benchmarking of manufacturing processes worldwide and implement necessary changes.
- Expected to be quick learner of new areas as per business requirement.

- In depth knowledge of various plastic material and their processing related to injection molding and other operations (finishing/printing/welding etc).
- In depth knowledge of various technologies used in Injection molding.
- In depth knowledge of Setting optimum molding Process through process design.
- In depth knowledge of plastic material and knowledge of material selection.
- Working knowledge of Mold design, mold construction, material selection for mold.
- Process validation and process audits and process capability studies, understanding of Cp, CpK, ppK.
- Should be capable of driving Process improvement (Quality and productivity) for meeting world class quality and productivity.
- PPAP documents - should able to create all documents required for PPAP completion.
- To solve quality related issue in QCM and BPR and action plan for the same
- Should be fully conversant with problem solving tools such as 8D, DOE etc. Knowledge and experience of SPC.
- familiar with IATF quality system and documentation. In depth understanding of key documents (process documents i.e. PFD,FMEA,CP).
- Understand layouts, types of production flow, takt time, ct Time & motion study, information flow, line balancing, Understand value stream mapping
- Knowledge of Poka yoke and automation. Knowledge of sensors, HMI PLC etc.will be added advantage.
