Project descriptionA leading Australian bank is building an offshore Murex support capability. The role requires a Murex consultant with strong functional exposure, particularly in FX products (mandatory) and preferably Commodities. You will be part of the Murex Change and Support team, working closely with onshore stakeholders and an established Luxoft offshore team to support and enhance trading operations.Responsibilities

Act as part of the offshore Murex Change and Support team for the bank
Collaborate with Luxoft and client stakeholders across offshore and onshore locations
Engage with end users to understand, clarify, and document functional requirements
Provide functional and technical support for Murex across FX and Commodities domains
Troubleshoot and resolve issues across trade lifecycle, Datamart, and reporting systems
Ensure timely incident, change, and service management in line with banking standards

SKILLSMust have

4 to 7 years of experience in Murex support/change roles
Strong functional exposure to FX products (mandatory)
Exposure to Commodities domain (preferred; not mandatory but advantageous)
Strong experience with Murex configuration and issue resolution (Datamart, MXML pre/post-trade, Realtime, MRE VAR)
Good understanding of trade lifecycle and financial markets (FX, Commodities, Derivatives)
Strong SQL and Unix skills
OS knowledge: RHEL 7, Unix, Java processes
Experience with batch scheduling tools such as Control-M and Control-M AFT
Experience in incident, change, and service management within financial services
Exposure to AWS Cloud
Willingness to work in shifts

Nice to have

Experience with DevOps tools in Murex environment (Git, Jenkins, JIRA, etc.)
