Job Description:Job Summary:The Associate Professor / Professor of Psychology will engage in high-quality teaching, research, and service activities within the Psychology Department. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate education, advance the field through research and scholarship, mentor students, and participate actively in departmental and university governance.Department:PsychologySkills Required:Subject Knowledge , Research, Innovation, Teaching Methodology, psychology, outcome based learning, publicationRole:Key Responsibilities:Teaching:Deliver undergraduate and/or graduate courses in various areas of psychology, including but not limited to cognitive, developmental, clinical, social, or experimental psychology.Develop and update course materials to reflect current research and practices.Supervise student research projects, theses, and dissertations.Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.Research and Scholarship:Conduct original research in the field of psychology and publish findings in reputable academic journals.Seek external funding and grants to support research activities.Present research at national and international conferences.Collaborate with colleagues within and outside the university on interdisciplinary projects.Service:Participate in departmental committees, faculty meetings, and university service initiatives.Engage in community outreach and professional activities to enhance the university's reputation.Contribute to curriculum development and program assessment.Professional Development:Stay current with advances in psychology through continuous learning and participation in professional organizations.Engage in activities that promote teaching excellence and research innovation.Qualifications:Required:Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited institution.Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a strong commitment to student success.A solid record of research and scholarly publications.Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.Years Of Exp:8 to 25 Years
