Role Description:The Job Holder will be responsible for configuring new system functionality, providing systemmaintenance & enhancements in SAP projects relating to Business DataWarehouse andManagement Reporting to ensure that the initiatives and internal customers are provided fulllifecycle support, from implantation through on-going support. This person will beresponsible for coding, configurations unit testing, bug-fixes on a day-to-day basis. It should benoted that this should be mainly delivered via Configuration objects rather than CustomDevelopments. An exceptional knowledge of standard SAP functionality is therefore required tobe able to properly exploit the Platform to deliver maximum business value.Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities: Configure SAP BW in line with the Global Template for the individual ETSM TechHubsand develop Management Reports according to Specifications provided by the KeyBusiness Users and the Requirements Engineer Ensure delivery of maximum business value through the exploitation of SAP Standardfunctionality and configuration objects to achieve the desired end result Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutionsJob Description Adhere to security and control, and change control processes Design, develop and maintain the SAP Systems to meet support and/or projectrequirements. Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translatebusiness requirements into formal technical requirements and application code viacontrolled design documents. Work with IT support teams (DBA, server teams) to ensure support and projectrequirements are developed and successfully implemented Ensure integration system activities including monitoring the technical architecture(particularly scalability, availability and archiving) meet all SLA’s Develop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate that applicationchanges meet technical specifications. Responsible for full System Development Life Cycle Work with business team to complete acceptance testing and participate in integrationtesting Participate in production support/ duty rotation including weekend and off-hour supportcoverage Undertake performance tuning activities for SAP integration activities Provide Solution Delivery Methodology artefacts associated with applicationcomponents. Participate in technical reviews at appropriate stages of development.
