Purpose:This role will be responsible for driving export sales growth and profitability in these key markets. The role involves developing and executing the annual sales plan and budget, aligned with overall business objectives. The incumbent will conduct market research to identify new opportunities, customer segments, and product needs. They will monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market dynamics to support strategic decision-making.The role includes identifying potential new products for these markets and building strong customer relationships. Coordination with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure smooth order execution and regulatory compliance. The DGM will also be responsible for timely preparation and analysis of monthly sales reports to track performance and drive continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy & Execution- Develop and implement the Annual Sales Plan and Budget for Europe/USA/MENA region.- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align export plans with overall business objectives.Market Development- Conduct market research to identify new customers, product opportunities, and target segments in Europe and the USA.- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key clients, agents, and distributors.Competitive Intelligence- Monitor competitor activities, product positioning, pricing trends, and market share.- Provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.Product Identification- Identify and propose new products suitable for the international market, based on demand trends, customer feedback, and regulatory frameworks.Reporting & Analytics- Prepare and present monthly sales performance reports, including variances vs targets and corrective actions.- Track sales KPIs and provide inputs for management reviews.Compliance & Documentation- Ensure compliance with export regulations, commercial documentation, and customer-specific requirements.- Work closely with regulatory, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution.Location: Head Office - MumbaiReporting to: VP - Sales & MarketingEducation: B.Sc. (Chemistry), M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) B.Tech. (Chemical/Polymer/plasticsEngineering), MBA in Marketing.Experience: 15+ years in chemical industry marketing and Well-travelled to USA/Europe/MENA, and very good relationships with polymer and compounding customers and distributors in the region.
