At Mindera, we build high-impact, scalable products for global clients. We are looking for a passionate Junior Software Engineer with experience in Java/Kotlin and exposure to cloud technologies (Azure) to join our growing engineering team.RequirementsWhy This Role Exists
We are expanding our backend engineering capability to support multiple large-scale, event-driven microservice systems.
This position helps bridge the gap between foundational coding ability and full microservice ownership, giving you hands-on exposure to real architecture, CI/CD practices, and automation pipelines.🔧 What You’ll Do
  • Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Java and/or Kotlin
  • Support the design and implementation of scalable and reliable applications
  • Work with Azure cloud services for deployment and monitoring
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and DevOps
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Debug issues and provide timely resolutions
🧠 What We’re Looking For
  • 2–4 years of experience in Java and Kotlin development
  • Basic understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • Exposure to Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, etc.)
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Understanding of Git and version control systems
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

  • Exposure to Spring Boot or similar frameworks
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  • Basic knowledge of Docker or containerization
  • Awareness of cloud-native development practices
