Sr. Engineer - Alignment SYSTRA is currently hiring for Alignment Engineer having 5+ years of experience in Railway projects. The position requires production of Alignment/Permanent way engineering designs, studies and reports for major Railway infrastructure project. Must have significant experience on Alignment design for Railway and have hands on knowledge of various design softwares such as Bentley OpenRail Designer and Autodesk Civil 3D and handling multidiscipline project. Main Duties Have good knowledge about track for creating horizontal and vertical alignment design. Design Railway track in accordance with applicable regulations, laws, and standards. Production of engineering design and details in accordance with project requirements with Indian and International applicable codes. Proficient with Yard Layout Design & Geometric regression analysis. Preparation of calculations, written reports and checking of drawings. Preparation of feasibility studies, preliminary through to detailed design for rail infrastructure. Should be able to carry out Preliminary Cost Estimates for Developed design. Should be able to take up technical coordination with various disciplines for efficient delivery of the project. Provide project progress and performance reports to the Team Leader and Project Management Team. Resilient to coping with conflicting demands, able to prioritize duties and work under pressure and lead the team. Excellent verbal and written presentation skills. Outstanding organizational abilities and technical mindset. Fluent English, good command of technical terms. Ensure compliance of the Systra Group policies, particularly on ethics, safety and adherence to Company ISO Standards. Promote and maintain good relationships with all internal and external parties to enhance the reputation of the Team and the company. Experience B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech degree in a relevant engineering field (e.g., Civil Engineering, Railway Engineering, Transportation Engineering etc.) 5+ years of experience in a design environment on range of civil engineering projects that include Railway Infrastructure. Skilled user of Bentley OpenRail Designer or Autodesk Civil 3D. Detailed knowledge of multi-disciplinary issues associated with Alignment design Detailed knowledge of construction principles and standards including Rail Alignment Design Codes (AREMA/UIC/EN).
