- Lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain planning operations, managing incoming, outgoing, and internal flows within plant/distribution center operations
- Develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies that align with business goals and enhance network efficiency
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives including promotional activities, new product launches, and network redesigns
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement in sales and operations planning
- Provide strategic guidance to executive management on supply chain planning activities while serving on the entity's management committee
- Lead end-to-end planning strategy covering demand planning, supply planning, capacity planning, inventory, and production planning.
- Design and govern Integrated Business Planning (IBP / S&OP) processes across regions and BU stakeholders.
- Align supply chain plans with business strategy, revenue goals, and customer service commitments.
- Ensure high forecast accuracy through structured demand planning, market intelligence, and data analytics.
- Balance demand-supply constraints, mitigate risks, and manage trade-offs across cost, service, and inventory.
- Drive proactive scenario planning and risk mitigation (shortages, volatility, supplier risks).
- Define global/regional inventory policies and optimization strategies.
- Improve inventory turns, slow & obsolete reduction, and working capital productivity.
- Implement advanced planning and simulation tools for multi-echelon inventory optimization.
- Own and monitor SCM KPIs:
- Service Level (OTIF)
- Forecast Accuracy & Bias
- Inventory Turns
- Planning Adherence
- Productivity & Cost
- Establish robust governance cadence (weekly, monthly performance reviews).
- Ensure data quality, planning discipline, and standard process compliance.
- Drive adoption of advanced planning systems (APS), AI/ML-based forecasting, and digital control towers.
- Partner with IT, Digital, and Data teams on future-ready planning solutions (SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or equivalent).
- Leverage analytics to enable predictive decision-making and scenario simulations.
- Act as a strategic interface with Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Global Supply Chain teams.
- Influence senior stakeholders to ensure one integrated plan across functions.
- Collaborate with global hubs and regional teams to deploy best practices.
- Lead, coach, and develop high-performing SCM planning teams.
- Build next-gen planner capabilities (digital, analytical, business acumen).
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and accountability.
- Embed sustainability goals (carbon footprint reduction, green inventory, optimized logistics) into planning decisions.
- Enhance supply chain resilience through diversification, risk buffers, and scenario planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Operations / Industrial Engineering
- MBA or Master’s in Operations / Supply Chain preferred
- 15–20+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Planning & Control, preferably in:
- Manufacturing
- Electrical / Industrial / Automation sectors
- Complex, multi-plant, global supply chains
- Minimum 5–7 years in senior leadership roles managing large SCM teams.
- Strong exposure to S&OP / IBP, transformation programs, and digital planning tools.
- Advanced knowledge of:
- Demand & supply planning
- Inventory optimization
- Capacity & production planning
- Hands-on experience with tools such as SAP IBP, SAP APO, Kinaxis, Anaplan, or equivalent APS systems
- Strong financial understanding: working capital, cost-to-serve, margin impact
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytics capability
- Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline
- High stakeholder influence and communication skills
- Change leader with experience managing large transformations
