Job Description:Job Title: EDIFECS Developer / Technical LeadExperience: 5+ YearsRole ProficiencyProficiency Level: Intermediate to AdvancedAct creatively and independently in developing applications, selecting appropriate technical solutions, and optimizing application performance. Apply design patterns, reuse proven solutions, and provide guidance to team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret application, feature, or component designs and translate them into functional code.Develop, test, debug, and document features in alignment with product specifications.Manage EDIFECS installation and configuration, including monitoring, upgrades, and support.Create and optimize EDI process flows using EDIFECS tools.Implement and manage business rules and mapping for X12 transactions (834, 837, 835, 277, 999, etc.).Provide guidance to team members on EDI and EDIFECS best practices.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and mentoring sessions.Collaborate with clients, architects, and project managers to design and implement scalable and maintainable solutions.Contribute to HLD/LLD documents, configuration management plans, and design documentation.Support QA and UAT teams by reviewing test plans, test cases, and providing technical clarifications.Interface with customer teams to clarify requirements and provide product demonstrations.Lead defect triaging, root cause analysis, and manage release processes.Primary Skills (Must-Have)EDIFECS Platform: Installation, configuration, and troubleshootingEDI Transactions: Deep knowledge of X12 transactions (834, 837, 835, 278, 277, 275, 997, 999)Programming: Java, JavaScriptDevelopment Practices: Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git version controlBusiness Rules & Process Flows: EDI mapping, translation, routingHealthcare Payer Domain: Strong knowledge and hands-on experienceSecondary Skills (Preferred)Database Management Systems: Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queriesOperating Systems: Linux/Unix environments for EDIFECS setup and configurationIDE & Tools: Eclipse, IntelliJ, EDIFECS-specific tools (XEngine, SpecBuilder, etc.)SDLC Models: Experience working across the full software development lifecycleTesting: JUnit or equivalent testing frameworks, unit test creation and validationGood to Have SkillsCloud Exposure: AWS, Azure experience with EDIFECS deploymentDevOps Tools: Jenkins, Docker, KubernetesModelling & Documentation: UML, BPMN, use case modelingCertifications: EDIFECS product certifications or Healthcare domain certifications (e.g., AHIP)Presentation Skills: Experience with demos, technical walkthroughs, or client-facing presentationsExpected OutcomesHigh-quality, reusable, and maintainable code adhering to defined standards.Effective design and implementation of EDI processes using EDIFECS.Timely and defect-free delivery of components and features.Improved team productivity and customer satisfaction through mentoring and best practice enforcement.Insightful domain input to improve business and technical solution alignment.Measures of SuccessAdherence to project timelines and coding standardsLow defect density during development and post-releaseReduced number of technical issues during executionTimely completion of compliance training and deliverablesCustomer satisfaction scores and feedbackOn-time releases with minimal rollback or hotfixesReuse of components, patterns, or solutions across projectsAdditional ExpectationsContribute to team goal setting, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.Provide estimation, planning, and reporting support as needed.Drive technical discussions and decision-making within cross-functional teams.Skills:Edifecs,Healthcare,Java,JavascriptAbout Company:UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider.
