- To work closely with the Primary Consultant in providing operational support to SEL schools as required.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of the Student Advisory Programme (SAP) from Grades VI – XII.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of the SAP CCG from Grades IX – XII & also, co-creation of CCG, as per need.
- Support the school is setting up of the SAP office in schools.
- Implementation of career programmes/events for students like Student Square, Forging The Future, Professional Pathways (sports management), etc.
- Provide support to school advisors so that they can carry out their advisory role and responsibilities.
- Create workshop modules for advisors, both new and experienced.
- Maintain all documentations pertaining to each school in SEL.
- Organize quarterly reviews, monthly meetings as per set timelines.
- Analyse school reports to see how our support to the schools can be further improved.
- Collaborate to host the bi-annual Forging the Future- college and career fair.
- Ensure the release of SAP newsletter as per timelines.
- Plan and conduct career workshops for parents as requested by schools.
- Provide support to schools in organizing summer internships.
- Provide support in implementing project transitions, if/as needed.
- Ensure customization and implementation of the school counselling policies in line with the requirements for each school.
- Coordinate counselling tasks as defined in the APC [Annual Planning Cycle] of the school.
- Be responsible for all communication and liaison with the school.
- Maintain a record of all communication, forms, documents and reports of the school
- Update all counselling documents in TEAMS and Shri Connect as required.
- Develop and review policies, handbooks and other communication material annually.
- Plan and circulate yearly visit calendar in advance.
- Deliberate and detail control points for the year in advance and review the same with the line manager at the end of the year.
- Ensure timely documentation of Visit Reports, Monthly Review PPTs etc., and monitor that all school related tasks and process is done on a regular basis.
- Complete and submit monthly report to the VP Ops
- Submit quarterly report to the VP Ops as per timelines.
- Align the school team with SEL’s ethos and philosophy
- Liaise between Principal, Promoter and SEL as cultural and regional diversities provide different mindsets and thought processes
- As individual complex organizations, the nature of support provided to each school is tailored, requiring a dynamic approach as per their constant changing needs.
- To support the school in its own development so that it builds internal capacity and progress, making it sustainable over time.
- To keep oneself abreast of contemporary best practices and techniques to enrich SEL’s existing curriculum and pedagogy
- Manage travel plan logistics to accommodate school calendars
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a career counsellor in a school of repute.
- Experience with curriculum design
- Experience with school counselling preferred behavioural and college counsellor. In case of experience in any one of the two, preference to be given to behavioural counselling experience.
- Good Communication and Inter personal Skills. Proactive and self driven.
- Exceptional skills in coordinating tasks and activities at various levels in the organization
- Good documentation and writing skills.
