For more information, visit .Introduction:This position is for an Engineer in GLOBALFOUNDRIES' India center at Bangalore, supporting 200 and 300mm wafer fabs in US. This position is responsible for the reporting and development for the Route Build team.Essential Responsibilities:Design, develop, document, deliver and maintain reports, dashboards and visualizations using SQL, Excel or other specialized reporting software.Administer the technical configuration of multiple software applications such as the Route Validation Agent (RVA), RBE (Route Build engine) and RBT DashboardsCollaborate with several teams to meet reporting needs and prioritization.Follow procedures when developing, testing, reviewing and releasing of new reports or system functionality and performs quality checks.Troubleshoot, analyze, diagnose, and resolve application issues using IT Service Now Incident Reports or Manufacturing Service Requests (MSRs)Work with users, other developers, database administrators, engineers, and other groups as needed when implementing new functionality or when fixing application issues.Develop software documentation and training materials and provide training to users on reporting needs.Help with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on other Factory System Solutions (FSS) ApplicationsUpdate management or lead engineer on the progress of assigned projects and make recommendations for continuous improvement.Establish and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with FSS/Route Build Team, IT and other personnel.Required Qualifications:Education: B. Tech in Computer Science or Information TechnologyExperience – bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years, master's degree with 1-2 years of experience.A minimum of 4 years job experience in a similar report development role.Preferred Qualifications:Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write queries and develop solutions in SQL, and experience with complex relational models.Demonstrated knowledge in SQL, Python, JavaBasic understanding of databases and strong attention to detail are essential.Demonstrated experience on Power BI, R and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is a plus.Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and practical development experience using “Agile” methodologiesHigh level of both oral and written communications skills in English languageAbility to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users.Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines and goals.Demonstrated ability to learn fast and provide knowledge transfer and training when needed.Strong documentation skillsDemonstrated ability to build effective relationships across the organization.Ability to work independently with very minimal supervision, but as part of a team in a remote location.GlobalFoundries is an equal opportunity employer, cultivating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
