- Direct Team Leadership: manage the Project management Office and its team members (Project managers and project owners or technical leads).
- Partner Management: Internal team and process definition for Outsourced Partners Management (control, planning and steering)
- Project Leadership: Lead dedicated projects with full accountability.
- Project Planning: Develop, Oversee and Approve comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Team Leadership (others): Lead and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication among team members. Perform regular program meetings and gating reviews per product introduction process to ensure project remains on-track and meets compliance to industry requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations. Work closely with Product Line Managers, Sales team, TAC team, Operations team, development teams, including software, system engineering, hardware design and signal processing disciplines.
- Execution and Monitoring: Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure project success.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders. Escalate deviations from the plan.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.
- Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial accountability.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or a related field with a strong technical background in Hardware/Software Engineering or similar. A master’s degree and PMP certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management of software/hardware development projects, with a proven track record of managing large-scale programs.
- Strong leadership, result orientation, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
- Ability to work and act globally – across different time zones and across global teams
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure project accuracy and quality.
