About the role The Internal Audit (CARE) team at Diageo India is looking for a suitable CA Industrial Trainees to join the team to implement a strong and robust control culture across the organization. The role will be accountable for the assessment, development, implementation, of an end-to-end business process mapping for the critical functions of the organization. (Supply, Commercial HR (Human Resources), Marketing, Corporate Relations, HR & Payroll, Legal etc) You will be interacting with stakeholders from multiple functions to understand the business operations, identify risks and controls and build flow charts, process maps etc The role reports to the General Manager -Internal Audit (CARE) Team and will be based out of Bangalore HO (Preferred candidate from Bangalore). Preferred final exams due May 2025 Principal Duties And Responsibilities Support in designing and maintaining of Process flows, flow charts by performing an end to end risk assessment review for critical functions of Diageo India Monitor continuous improvement of effective control environment and efficient processes flows Monitor and document strategic, operational, financial, legal and reputational reporting processes, identification of process risks and mitigating controls; Conduct process walkthroughs, test of key controls and review of management reports. Review the usage of the system and suggest improvements to ensure continuous improvement and further automation. Support in ad-hoc reviews for process changes. Monitor how local management manages local risks and general adherence to control best practices. Identify, evaluate, and document the design and effectiveness of the SOX manual/ IT general controls and application controls looking for both control gaps and opportunities to gain process efficiencies Support in preparing quarterly Audit Committee meetings/presentations/newsletters and other supporting documentation; prepare other CEO/CFO/CIO meeting presentations, as needed The role also has the opportunity to navigate and work with the FP&A, Finance Controllership, Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit teams based on skills and performance Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and pursuing CA Knowledge of business processes like OTC, P2P, H2R etc Basic understanding of risk and controls Technical skills - Microsoft Office, Visio , Power BI (Business Integrity) (Desired) Excellent communication and understanding skills with a keen eye for details Stipend: 25,000 per month Duration of Internship: 1.5 years or 17 Months
