Introduction: Support and assist the BUK COO Workforce Management Team to deliver the strategy, processes, & control framework and capability of the complete end to end WFM strategy across BUK COO and on-going support of the wider BUK estate. The Senior Workforce Management & Planning Analyst will be responsible for managing the team and process that delivers long term strategic forecasting, tactical forecasting capability and the execution of the long, mid and short term operational capacity plans What will you be doing ' Lead & performance manage a small team of BA4 Analysts to deliver a robust long term workload forecast, operational capacity plan plans built on a collaboratively agreed set of assumptions to determine the demand plan for individual areas of responsibility. ' Delivers the WFM service offering aligned to the governance & control framework including engagement & outputs for each specific business area. ' Manages the ongoing development of 'bottom up' capacity planning models that underpin the operating budget and headcount plan for each specific business area ' Evolve the omni channel forecasting & capacity planning capability that enables Improved customer satisfaction, leverages growth & revenue opportunities and drives optimisation & simplification ' Provide statistical forecasting & modelling subject matter expertise, guidance and commercial insight through regular and adhoc analysis and reporting. ' Support succession & development management of the wider WFM team through structured coaching and mentoring. ' Act as a role model to influence and energise others to develop and continuously improve forecasting & capacity planning processes, tools, and capability. What we're looking for: ' A strong analytical, strategic thinker and innovative problem solver ' Proven forecasting analytical experience across an omni channel business environment in a lead analyst role. ' Experience of working in a WFM role involving stakeholder engagement at a senior level (Director of Operations, Head of Finance etc.) ' Highly numerate with a proven track record in data modelling using Excel/programming skills. ' Excellent communicator being able to translate data driven insights into decisions and actions with demonstrable experience of presenting and influencing at VP Level and above ' An expert in forecasting / capacity plan modelling best practice ' A strong potential for leadership ' Graduate/Post Graduate/MBA ' Strong communication & presentation skills interacting at all levels ' Ability to train, coach and mentor. ' Influencing and decision making skills ' Demonstrable statistical analytical & modelling skills with the ability to provide insight and present in a way that gives clarity, confidence, certainty to the audience and able to Influence ' Ability to be pro-active through planning and organisation skills, constantly anticipating future needs but remaining flexible and calm with unforeseen demands. Skills that will help you in the role: ' Academic and/or role experience that evidences a high degree of statistical modelling capability.
