Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert, is partnered with a PE-firm who is seeking an Interim Controller to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a strong background in private equity environments, especially those who are familiar with Sage Intacct.Title: Interim Controller
Location: Remote
Hourly Rate: $70.00 - $75.00/hour
Job Type: Contract (2-3 months)Key Responsibilities:

Lead month-end close for eight separate legal entities.
Execute multi-entity consolidation roll-ups into Sage Intacct.
Manage foreign currency accounting for an India-based subsidiary.
Extract data from various systems and perform bank reconciliations and journal entries.
Prepare accurate, lender-ready financial statements.
Collaborate with leadership to streamline close processes and ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in multi-entity accounting and consolidation.
Private equity experience preferred.
Strong technical accounting skills with GAAP expertise.
Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems.
Ability to perform both strategic oversight and tactical tasks.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
