- We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Techno-Functional Consultant/ hands on development lead – Oracle EPM & Finance (R2R) to support a critical Finance and EPM led transformation initiative.
- The consultant will operate remotely from India with some US hours overlap to enable real-time collaboration with onsite US project teams.
- The ideal candidate is a quick learner with strong Procure to Pay technical development skills, sound functional understanding of Oracle Fusion procurement, Oracle Fusion AP with excellent communication abilities, and the capability to stretch work hours during peak delivery periods.
- Experience in Fleet or Rental Car domains such as National-Alamo, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Hertz, Avis, etc. is preferred.
- Understand functional needs, Design Tech Specs, Develop & test technical components across Oracle Fusion Record-to-Report (R2R) Oracle Fusion Financials workstream as a techno-functional consultant.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Configure and support Fusion Financials modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, and Subledger Accounting.
- Design and Develop Integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, OIC).
- Build and enhance reports using BI Publisher and OTBI.
- Design, develop, and maintain FBDI, ADFDI templates, and custom data loaders.
- Develop RICEW components—Reports, Integrations, Conversions, Enhancements, and Workflows.
- aPrticipate in requirements workshops with onsite US teams and functional consultants.
- Translate functional requirements into technical design specifications quickly.
- Develop, test, and deploy technical solutions aligned with Oracle best practices.
- Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
- Perform data migration activities for suppliers, FA, AR, AP, GL, PO, catalogs, and objects.
- Troubleshoot GL, SLA, FA, AP/AR accounting issues and coordinate defect resolutions.
- Provide daily updates to US onsite leads and collaborate with global teams.
- Participate in quarterly update assessments and perform regression validation.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, KT materials, and solution design documents.
- Build some of the functional requirement spec and convert them into technical design
- Communication with functional consultants
- Collaborate with onsite US teams in real-time and attend daily standups during EST hours.
- 10+ years of experience in Oracle ERP (EBS and/or Fusion) with strong technical skills and function understanding of Finance & Procure to Pay process and Capabilities as applies to Oracle SaaS/ Fusion ERP
- 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing Oracle Fusion Financials (R2R).
- Strong techno-functional expertise in GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, and SLA configurations.
- Experience with BI Publisher, OTBI, SQL, PL/SQL, FBDI, ADFDI, and related tools.
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs; exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting cycles, period close processes, ledger configurations, and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with US-based teams.
- Ability to work full-time in the US Eastern Time Zone (8 AM – 5 PM EST).
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Fleet, Rental Car, or Automotive industries such as Hertz, Avis, or Enterprise.
- Experience supporting high-volume accounting and integration environments.
- Experience working in an onsite-offshore hybrid delivery model.
- Good understanding of multi-ledger, multi-currency financial structures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a quick learning curve.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to stretch beyond standard hours to meet deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset.
