How does it contribute to the objectives of the organisation?Section 3 : Dimension of the RoleScope & BoundariesSection 4 : Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities : - Warehouse Operations: Managing day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.- Order Fulfillment: Ensuring that orders are accurately processed, picked, packed, and delivered on time.- Inventory Control: Overseeing stock levels, conducting inventory counts, and managing the storage of goods.- Inventory Audits: Conducting periodic audits to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies- Transportation Management: Coordinating the movement of goods from different warehouses to customers.- Logistics Coordination: Overseeing transportation and warehousing to ensure smooth product flow.- Cost Optimization: Identifying ways to reduce shipping, warehousing, and inventory management costs.- Compliance and Safety: Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.- Safety and Compliance: Ensuring the warehouse is operating in compliance with safety regulations and procedures.- Budget Management : Manage the warehouse operations budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and achieving financial targets- Process Optimization: Identifying and implementing improvements to warehouse processes to increase efficiency- Continuous Improvement: Analyzing supply chain processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost, and service.- People Management : Ensure team members are motivated and get the work done as per plan.Education Background(Threshold educational background required to execute this role)- Any Graduate with an MBA in Material Management / Logistics / Operation. Experience (Nature / type and years of relevant experience required to execute this role)- 10 - 15 years of experience in Textile IndustryTechnical Competencies(Nature / type of technical proficiency required to execute this role)- Should have hands-on experience of managing warehouses independently- Should have a good understanding of product and requirement. Should have knowledge of drafting contracts, statutory Laws and compliance related to export, import, and domestic trade policies. Behavioral Competencies(Nature / type of behavioral competencies required toexecute this role) - Should have good computer skills and knowledge of advance Excel. - Experience in interacting with internal / external customers to understand the requirement.- Good Communication (Written & Verbal), strong Negotiation skills, highInterpersonal skill and Time Management.- People Management skills - ERP knowledge will be preferable
