AM EHS

Assist in compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.
Maintain relevant HSE logs and documentation.
Assist in the compliance of applicable laws and regulations.
Prepare applicable HSE reports as necessary.
Provide assistance and advice on HSE issues to make recommendations to facility management.
Participate in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis
Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and visitors.
Assist in the development and presentation of relevant HSE training
Observe HSE regulations, wears all required safety equipment, encourages safe working practices, corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel.
Ability to work with employees and achieve cultural change in the face of potential resistance
Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our customers and regulatory agencies.
Perform other work-related tasks as required as assigned

Conduct safety Walk of manufacturing plant on a regular basis to establish HSE presence and provide support.
Conduct daily and monthly HSE Meetings/Trainings and schedule as needed.
Write, implement, and manage HSE Programs, Policies and Procedures
Perform facility HSE Inspections
Ensure adherence of Annual EHS Activity calendar
Ability to evaluate PPE and ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE
Have knowledge and enforce compliance of Regulatory requirements including company HSE policies and procedures.
Ability to manage Machine safety and implement appropriate SOP s
Ability to oversee Hazardous Waste Storage area and ensure regulatory agency compliance i.e. labelling, containment, proper disposal, documentation, etc.
Perform Storm Water Discharge sampling and document events
Assist in emergency response and provide first aid treatment.
Oversee Behaviour Based / Observation Safety Programs.
Help develop Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)
Follow Fall Protection program, inspect all fall protection equipment and maintain inspection records
Ability to oversee Safety suggestion Programs.
Assist in administering and maintaining compliance programs such as LOTO, Hazard Communication, Conservation, Hot Work, Respiratory Protection etc.
Perform additional duties as assigned by HR / Plant Head

To ensure implementation of applicable legal requirements through submission of due records / forms to update compliance records of related authorities.
To maintain liaising with Government bodies like Local PCB as & when required.
To prepare environment related budget considering the requirement of new act / rules enforced for implementation.

To execute the system for Aspect Impact evaluation covering all the activities of plant for effective implementation of ISO 14001.
To identify & execute various improvement schemes related to Environment prevention & protection and other EHS related matters, after co-ordination with different functions.
To organize & execute various trainings internally / externally on Environment related matters to increase awareness

Provide support to EHS functions at SKH Plant/Unit for operational flexibility.
To prepare & execute periodic audit and inspection as per schedule in support to yearly planner and its supported checklist by surprise auditing or by third party and recommend implementable actions to mitigate the gap for effective implementation & improving environmental standard

To organize & execute campaign / training to maintain Environment culture in and around the complex internally & externally.
To understand the concept of zero discharge applicable to plant process to recommend suitable proposal for implementation.
To understand and implement the National / International Environment standards to maintain the best culture in the organization.
