- Packaging & integrating vehicle systems - govern Virtual vehicle layout & finalize Hard points
- Contribute to the definition of overall vehicle architecture, including hardware/software integration and platform modularity.
- Lead integration activities across vehicle systems including chassis, electrical, cooling, and hydraulics, Drivetrain.
- Expertise in concept design of sheet metal components, hydraulic and electrical routings.
- Conduct packaging investigations and DMU (Digital Mock-Up) reviews for static/dynamic clearance and clash verification, including focus on Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Service (DFS) in Creo.
- Define and manage interfaces between vehicle systems and subsystems, ensuring compatibility and effective variants management.
- Prepare and maintain Vehicle Specification Charts and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Ensure vehicle configuration and integration meet safety, regulatory, and certification standards.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of vehicle systems from bumper to bumper and their functions.
- Manage design releases for NPI & CPI Programs meeting the quality & velocity Targets - Drawing and BOM release through Team center
- Conduct vehicle benchmarking study.
- Develop and maintain DFMEA for integrated systems and support risk management activities.
- Support to Develop and execute system-level test plans and validation procedures.
- Support vehicle build : Prototype, Pre-production, and Production top Factory and Support team.
- Monitor and resolve NPI (New Product Introduction) and CPI (Current Product Improvement) issues from factory, suppliers, and field.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve engineering issues from factory & field with cross functional collaboration - various aggregates design team, Supply chain, Manufacturing, Quality and Product service.
- Manage variants and meet project-specific commonization and standardization targets.
- Apply knowledge of vehicle regulations, legislations, and safety standards in design.
- Provide timely communication of issues and development updates to the stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or Systems Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in vehicle systems integration or related automotive engineering roles.
- Strong understanding of vehicle architecture and system interactions.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
· Machine level experience in design and product application knowledge, in Autonomous /Electrification has added advantage
○ Creo and team center releasing process
○ BIQ process knowledge
○ Technology application or development knowledge
· Participated in at least one full product development cycle to provide end to end complex engineering solutions encompassing design, analysis, test & validation.
· Project management experience
