In this role, you will be entrusted with delivering a high-performance, interactive, and scalable mobile application featuring advanced functionalities such as swipe-based networking, real-time messaging, and AI-driven discovery.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:
● Develop and support the Sphere mobile app using React Native
● Create high-quality, reusable UI components
● Integrate backend APIs and implement real-time features
● Enhance app performance, responsiveness, and stability
● Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams
● Deliver a seamless user experience on both iOS and Android platforms
● Debug and resolve issues across various devices and environmentsRequired Skills:
● Over 5 years of experience in mobile app development
● Proficient in React Native
● Skilled in gesture-based UI and animations (using react-native-reanimated, react-native-gesture-handler)● Strong knowledge of performance optimization techniques (including FlatList optimization, memoization, and preventing unnecessary re-renders)
● Experience managing real-time data (WebSockets, live updates)
● Expertise in state management (Redux Toolkit / Zustand)
● Proficient in integrating and handling REST APIs (pagination, retries, error management)
● Experienced with secure storage and authentication workflows
● Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities
● Proficient in JavaScript / TypeScript
● Familiarity with version control systems (Git)Nice to Have:
● Experience developing chat/messaging interfaces
● Knowledge of offline-first approaches or caching strategies
● Familiarity with animations and micro-interactions
● Exposure to AI-driven or data-intensive applications
● Experience with app deployment on App Store and Play Store
