The AVP - Technical Engineering is responsible for leading the engineering function for core insurance platforms, overseeing technical strategy, delivery governance, modernization, and platform scalability. The role involves managing internal and partner teams, driving innovation through PoCs, and ensuring high system performance and compliance.

Lead tech stack upgrades, modernization, and system hardening.
Own the technical roadmap for core platforms (Ingenium, Group Ais, MMMA).
Ensure cross-platform integration, scalability, and performance.
Collaborate with product, architecture, and infrastructure teams.
Manage internal and outsourced teams (15+ members).
Drive automation, batch-to-real-time transitions, and CI/CD practices.
Oversee production support, incident management, and RCA processes.
Lead PoCs for emerging technologies and innovation initiatives.

15-18+ years in technical/system consulting, preferably in insurance.
Hands-on experience with Ingenium, modernization, and cloud-based solutions.
Strong understanding of AI-driven automation and digital transformation.
Experience managing large teams and multiple complex projects.
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
Experience in COBOL, Java, Oracle, Python, REXX, and version control tools.
Deep knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and engineering best practices.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership.
Proven ability to manage large-scale transformation projects.
